1. Data controller

The party responsible for data processing in the Murder Mysteries app and on this website is Force Push Labs, the developers of the app. You can reach us at admin@forcepushlabs.com.

2. What we collect

When you use the app, we process:

  • Your account — the email address you sign in with and the display name you choose, which other players in your game can see.
  • Your games — the games you host or join, the character assigned to you, your progress through the story and the accusation you lock in.
  • Technical data — device and app version information, plus crash and diagnostic data, so we can fix problems.

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performing the contract — running the game you asked us to run) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a stable, secure app).

3. How we use it

We use your data to run games and keep players in sync, to let people who joined the same game identify each other, to keep your games available across sessions, and to diagnose crashes and improve the app. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

4. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The app runs on Google Firebase (Google Ireland Limited), which provides our authentication, database and hosting and therefore processes the data above on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Distribution and beta testing go through Apple's App Store and TestFlight, which apply their own privacy terms.

5. Retention and deletion

Account data is kept for as long as you have an account. Games are kept so you can reopen them from the "My Games" overview. You can ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it at any time by writing to admin@forcepushlabs.com — we will remove it from our active systems, and from backups as they roll over.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email us at admin@forcepushlabs.com.

7. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access, and we review them as our app and the available technology change.

8. This website

This site is a static page with no analytics, no tracking and no cookies. Our host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes.

9. Contact
